4C: Prague Conference Introduces Career Hub

Created by and for game developers, 4C Conference is about foreseeing change and sharing experience in the games industry alongside the world’s leading video game experts.

This includes sharing not only the knowledge in the areas of speakers’ expertise, but also their personal experience in getting in gamedev industry, developing themselves as industry professionals, building their teams and facing various difficulties on their way.

Therefore, we are happy to introduce you to our new initiative – 4C Career Hub. The Hub aims to help individuals learn everything that they can use in the most rapidly growing industry worldwide. The Career Hub has one sole purpose which is to mentor professionals who either want to enter the gaming industry or are already in the industry and would like to discover opportunities and ways to advance their careers.

The Hub has three different levels:

  • Beginners (mostly students or people who have just entered the industry);
  • Level regardless of your experience;
  • Higher-level management, where they will be advised on improving their leadership and management skills.

The schedule of the hub will be announced on the conference website, and it will include discussions and chats on variety of topics:

  • Wargaming Talent Acquisition Team “How to make your profile noticeable”
  • Rob Carr (Wargaming) - Audio in Games: Go from Casual to Corporate
  • Richard Morris (Indigo) “Introduction to Lateral Thinking”
  • Panel on "What do game developers think during interviews" moderated by Jakub Gemrot (MatFyz CUNI)
  • Jason Cahill (Microsoft) "Breaking into the industry"


Both days of 4C Career Hub schedule will also include session of IGDA Mentor Café. The sessions require a separate registration. More details will be announced shortly.
